Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS Checks)
Even though the VCPR is a voluntary register, it must nevertheless uphold and demonstrate the highest commitment to safeguarding the vulnerable. Therefore it will be a condition of registration for all registrants to upload a copy of their DBS Certificate at the point of registration, so please have this to hand when registering.

Registration Process
There is a 3 stage process for having an entry on the VCPR.
1. Initial Registration - click on the Start Registration button below, complete the required fields, and submit.
2. DBS & ID Verification - once your initial registration has been received, and your DBS is registered on the Update Service, this will be validated.
- Where a DBS certificate is not on the Update Service, you will be asked to upload a copy of your current DBS certificate. This will not be publicly viewable
In addition to your DBS you will be asked for another form of ID to confirm your address. Once we have verified your details, your information will then be deleted from our systems.
3. Confirmation - as soon as all of your information has been verified, a further email will be sent advising you if your registration has been successful. If successful, this email, will also contain your unique register PIN, and your digital registration badge.
